Luna

A gentle-looking husky who deserves a fresh start.

Luna is reserved. Please contact us for the current situation.

This is my story

Luna was found alone by a road. She had a microchip, but her registered owners wanted to give her up. She entered shelter care and is now staying in our home-based foster care in the Netherlands.

Her calm behaviour stood out at the shelter. At a busy dog event she also remained relaxed around dogs, people and children. With us she is adapting well to home life and makes contact easily.

Her response to other dogs depends on the situation. Outdoors she usually copes well and can ignore them. Indoors she can be firm about her boundaries and dislikes boisterous puppies. Living with another dog is an option only after a careful introduction.

We observe a moderate need for exercise. A longer afternoon walk alongside shorter walks seems to suit her in foster care. Training, mental activities and attention to her husky traits also remain important.

A home that suits me

We are looking for someone who understands life with a husky and looks beyond her appearance. She needs clear guidance, attention, exercise and mental activities, and a garden or yard. Her profile reports a prey drive, so please discuss any cats and other animals with us.

Always discuss needs and placement conditions with us. We would love to explore a suitable match together.
